Nestled in the heart of Tsavo National Park, Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge is an architectural gem that seamlessly blends luxury with nature. From our arrival, the breathtaking views of the animal watering hole and the majestic Kilimanjaro captured my heart—there’s something profoundly captivating about sipping a drink at the rock-built bar while elephants and buffaloes leisurely graze nearby. The staff here are genuinely exceptional; One of my favorite touches was the open-air dining area, where we enjoyed delicious à la carte meals, all while gazing out at the stunning wildlife. As an architect, I appreciated the lodge’s classic stone structure and how it harmonizes with the vast savannah landscape—a fine example of how thoughtful design can enhance the experience of nature. The outdoor swimming pool was perfect for unwinding after adventurous game drives, which we embraced fully—there’s a wild beauty in tracking animals across one of the largest national parks in the world. Kilaguni Serena offers a unique blend of relaxation and adventure, making it an ideal getaway for couples or friends looking to connect with nature. Highly recommend it for anyone seeking a serene escape where every moment feels special!
